Q. How far in advance can we book our wedding?

A. Sooner is always better.  Most couples make firm reservations between 9 and 18 months in advance, however we will reserve your date 3 months to 3 years in advance.  We are happy to check availability for the date you have in mind.

Q. What is your deposit policy?

A.  We require non-refundable deposits.  The first is due upon the signing of your contract agreement.  The remaining installments will be worked into your agreement and are based on the time frame before your wedding date.

Q. What is all included when booking a wedding at Fox Hills?

A. Included for your wedding at no additional cost to you:

  • Linen table cloths, napkins, silverware, stemmed glassware, and china dinnerware
  • Fox Hills centerpieces include taper candles, hurricanes, and mirrors
  • Complimentary accommodations for the bride and groom on the evening of the wedding
  • Discount hotel rooms for wedding guests (based on availability)
  • Complimentary menu tasting after signed contract
  • Cake cutting and serving
  • Wooden parquet dance floor
  • Simple decorating
  • Audio visual equipment including a cordless microphone, screen and projector for slideshows and an in-room music system

Q. Do you hold ceremonies at the resort?

A. Yes, we have a beautiful outdoor site at the Fox Creek Golf Course on Blue #1 as well as an indoor wedding chapel.

Q. Can I have my bridal shower at the resort?

A.  Yes, we have smaller rooms available for a minimal charge.

Q. How early will the reception room be available for set-up the day of the wedding?

A. The room is normally ready for your florist, band, or DJ to set-up an average of 2 hours prior to the reception.

Q. Can I order children’s meals or vegetarian/gluten free meals?

A.  We offer a children’s plate at a discounted price that includes chicken tenders and fries.  We also offer several vegetarian and gluten free options based on your guests dietary needs.

Q. May we offer a choice of two entrees to our guests?

A.  Yes, but you must identify each guest’s meal choice with a place card.

Q. Can we bring our own food or beverage?

A.  No, Fox Hills Resort will provide all food and beverage.  We take price in adhering to all Federal, State, and Local regulations to ensure proper food preparation and beverage service.  Exceptions are sometimes made for certain specialty items.

Q. Do you offer any special room rates for our guests?

A.  Yes, we set up a special room block for your guests at a discounted group rate for the night of the wedding.  The bride and groom receive a complimentary room for the night of the wedding.

Q.  Can we bring in our own wedding cake?

A.  Yes, we have no restrictions on the source of the wedding cake.  Fox Hills Resort takes no responsibility for the setting up or integrity of your wedding cake.

Q.  When is my final guest count numbers due?

A.  Guaranteed guest counts are due 7 days prior to the event.

Q.  May we have a golf outing for our bridal party or guests?

A.  Yes, we would be thrilled to have your bridal party or guests for a golf outing.  Contact the Pro Shop at 920-755-3647 for pricing.
